Poem: When to Trust Politicians
WHEN TO TRUST POLITICIANS

When every pressing matter gets done at hand
And corruption worse than prostitution
Gets eschewed
And a well-regulated arrogance
Gets shrouded, deep down the cold earth
Then give a politician your confidence and trust
When pragmatic gets formulated danger policies
And our words-clarion calls by their ears
Not violated
And dishonest and dubious aspersions cast not
And stop they hiding behind the parliamentary privileges
And wriggled out of their covering cocoons
Then give a politician your confidence and trust
When the hunger-stricken and the sick are for catered
And a breathe for humanity gets breathed
And your interests, mine gets placed
Before his or hers
Then give a politician your confidence and trust
When committed constitutional reviews are embarked on
And our lives for a roller coaster taken not
And the Rule of law respected
And the laws that enjoin these miscreants promulgated are
And the absolute powerful & Guilty executed are
At the international Tribunal
Then give a politician your confidence and trust!

Am one of the privileged Kenyans who have had the opportunity to work in the corridors of power(parliament) as a PA to two different MPs. WHEN TO TRUST POLITICIANS is surely what i should put next on the in tray of my boss. its real and communicating. I must however admit that my boss is work oriented and a guy you can sincerely trust. Anyone who have ever heard the famous FRESHA WHOLE MILK is certain to trust this young man who has brought economic empowerment to this constituency.
before joining Parliament he was the chairman of this reputable organization that is now giving Brookside & New KCC sleepless nights. This surely a man who could have been a good choice for a post of a Minister, however our senoir politicians rewards the same old guard who continues to rape our resources with impunity.
Reinstatement of people like Kimunya to the cabinet is such an insult to Kenyans. How do such people like Hon Baiya fail to be in this cabinet?

Wow what a lovely poem. We cannot trust our politicians who are only hell-bent on self gratification and greed at the expense of Kenyans dying from hunger, lacking fuel, traversing poor infrastructure and shocking insecurity.
When will they learn. Corruption is hemorrhaging us.
